I've been selected to be a part of the 5th Distillery Program - an Artist Residency at the Brewhouse in Pittsburgh's South Side! Five emerging artists were selected for this 6-month program. It's an opportunity for professional development, networking, and building our careers as artists. I'm really excited to be a part of this program. We're taking a trip to Chicago in January, and we'll have a final show in February.

"Round 5: The Art of the Brewhouse Distillery Artists"
The Brewhouse Distillery Program artists are having a midway show at C-SPACE: COLLECTIVE. The Collective is located at 4823 Penn Avenue and is part of the Penn Avenue Arts corridor. This exhibition will be a part of Unblurred: First Fridays on Penn - so there will be 10 blocks of art events and gallery opening to check out.

I'm running a one-week summer camp for elementary students from July 12th - 16th at the Providence Heights Alpha School beside LaRoche College in the North Hills. Students will learn new art techniques, create lots of unique artwork, and have the opportunity to utilize their creative spirits in this exciting new art program! Lessons include: Drawing from Nature, Still Life Studies, Painting, Mixing a Palette, Abstract Art, Comics & Illustration, and more!

Several of my newest paintings will be featured in their gallery. The theme is jazz, science, and looking at our planet from another perspective. The Pillow Project is a local dance company. Their Second Saturday Art Happenings are a showcase of improv dance, choreographed performances, live music and visual art. Come see something new and interesting!

4th International Drawing Annual (INDA) - Manifest Gallery in Cincinatti, Ohio, has published its 4th annual book on contemporary drawing. This publication includes 100 artworks from 59 artists, as well as short essays that focus on the theme of contemporary drawing.
