Born in Pittsburgh in 1983, Aimee Manion is an avid creator and entrepreneur who works in many fields of art including painting, drawing, illustration, mixed media, portraiture, fibers, and jewelry. Aimee's artwork is inspired by the wonders of science and life's inner workings. She believes that through constant exploration and discovery -- in both art and science -- we can understand more about Creation, Life, and our place in the Universe.

Her crocheted purses and jewelry share the same playful quality as her paintings and have been featured in many local boutiques and craft shows. Aimee strongly believes in the value of art education and is the founder of the Doodlebugz Art School.

Aimee's creations are starting to spread themselves into homes and offices throughout the world. She looks forward to the day when she can support herself solely on what she was born to do.
